In researching yesterday’s post on the Expos still playing, I was intrigued by Miguel Batista’s extensive and diverse career.
Ten days after his 17th birthday, Batista signed with Montreal as an amateur free agent and began a professional tenure that 25 years later is still going strong. Albeit, one that has seen the native of the Dominican Republic play for 12 different organizations so far and Colorado will be his 13th.
