NASCAR is coming to Metro Bank Park, but you don’t have to worry about them digging up the playing field during a hairpin turn. Instead, MBP will be the site of the 2nd Annual Celebrity Softball Game featuring teams representing Dover International Speedway against Pocono Speedway on Wednesday, April 24th, prior to the Senators game against the Reading Baseball Club.

NASCAR drivers Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick will use their expertise of left turns to run the bases as they lead the squads from Dover and Pocono, respectively . The rest of the rosters will be filled out by various national and local media personalities as well as a few other special guests.

A ticket to that night’s Senators game gets you into both events with the celebrity game slated to begin prior to the Eastern League matchup at 4:30. Tickets can be purchased at 717-231-4444 or online at senatorsbaseball.com. Throughout the night, Dover and Pocono will be giving away tickets to their respective NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races which take place on back-to-back Sundays in early June.
