The Senators are slated to begin a 13-game spring training schedule next Thursday that runs through March 29th.
Terry Byrom, Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations, pointed out this morning on Twitter, “Because of the location of the Nats spring training complex, they’ll only play Houston, Atlanta and Detroit during spring training.” The Senators will face the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers) four times, Mississippi Braves (Atlanta Braves) four times and the Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston Astros) five times.
Unlike Major League spring training, results and stats will remain virtually unknown and we won’t find out very much about these games.
The complete schedule is as follows:
March 14 – Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston)
March 15 – Corpus Christi Hooks (Houston)
March 16 – Erie SeaWolves (Detroit)
March 17 – Mississippi Braves (Atlanta)
