I’m sure tonight didn’t go the way that Nate Karns wanted it to. His final line ended up as: 3.2 IP, 7 H, 7 R, 3 BB, 3 K…77 pitches, 48 strikes.
Here’s video I took of him facing James Beresford, Antoan Richardson, and Danny Santana in the 3rd inning. The wheels would come off quickly after this as he hit the next batter, surrendered a bases clearing triple, and later in the inning gave up a two-run homer.
