I know many fans (myself included) like to attend Senators games even when they are on the road. Here’s a handy dandy guide to the ten best promotions and giveaways you can catch as you plan your road trips throughout the season.

BOpening Night
The Altoona Curve will celebrate the life of the team’s bat boy, Robert “Bo” Forney, who passed away at the age of 21 this off-season. Bo’s father Ron will throw out the first pitch at tonight’s game while his sister Shannon will be tonight’s Kunzler Honorary Team Captain. An in-game silent auction will take place featuring memorabilia from the Curve-Pirates exhibition with all proceeds from the auction benefitting the American Heart Association.

Anti-Diet Night
The Rock Cats’ most popular promotion returns bigger and better than ever as fans can enjoy free all you can eat hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos and popcorn until the 7th inning.
Friday, May 17 – Reading 7:05 PM
Human Cannonball and 10th Annual Beer Tasting Festival
I’m not sure what there’s not to love about this night. David “The Bullet” Smith will launch himself over FirstEnergy Stadium and a beer festival? That sounds like the perfect confluence of events that have given the world three Jackass movies.
Monday, June 10 – Reading 9:35 AM
Mike Schmidt Mustache Coffee Mug / 12th Annual Morning Game
Have you always wondered what you’d look like with Mike Schmidt’s glorious ’70s era mustache? Now’s your chance as Reading will be giving away coffee mugs that make it appear like you have grown whiskers when you drink from it. And if you get there at 6 AM (?!?), early birds will get free hot dogs and coffee.

Fresh Prince of Bel Air Night
Alfonso Ribeiro aka “Carlton Banks” will make an appearance in Bowie for a night honoring the show that chronicled how a kid from west Philadelphia born and raised became the prince of a town called Bel Air. Yo Holmes, smell ya later.

More Cowbell World Record Attempt with Cowbell Giveaway
I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell! The Baysox attempt to set the world record for most people simultaneously playing cowbells as the fans get to really explore the studio space in Prince George’s Stadium as they perform the hell out of this.

3D Fireworks
Based on everything I can glean this is a cross between 3D IMAX movies, kaleidoscopes, and fireworks. I’m not sure what that equals either but it sounds and looks pretty cool.
Wednesday, August 21 – Richmond 7:05 PM
Tribute to the Peanut
One of my favorite foods, the Flying Squirrels will honor the peanut with numerous in-game contests and promotions. Hopefully, they’ll have a George Washington Carver reenactor on site describing his three hundred uses for the legume and how Edward “Skippy” Williamson and Frederick “Jif” Armstrong stole his recipe for peanut butter.
