Aeros 6, Senators 3

• In the six games he’s played since coming off the disabled list, Steven Souza has been even better than before…which is saying something. Souza is batting .455, getting on-base at a .538 clip, and slugging .727. He has hit safely in all six games and collected multiple base knocks in four of those games including Wednesday night in Akron.

• Ricky Hague was collared with the dreaded Golden Sombrero as the second baseman struck out all four times he came to the plate including the final out of the ballgame.

• Ian Krol was scored on for only the third time in 19 appearances all season as reliever Tyler Herron allowed both inherited runners from Krol to cross the plate to give Akron additional insurance runs in the eighth inning.

• Anthony Rendon sat out his sixth straight game after his wisdom teeth were removed last Friday.

• Cleveland’s Lou Marson caught six innings for the Aeros as part of a major league rehab assignment.
