• Michael Broadway (’13) has signed a minor league deal with the Blue Jays for 2014 with an invitation to Major League Spring Training camp. Broadway went 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA in 12 games with the Senators last season before getting promoted to Syracuse in late May.

• The Nationals lost two key members of the organization this week. Third-base coach Trent Jewett (’90) left to join Lloyd McClendon’s staff in Seattle, while Assistant GM and VP of Player Personnel Roy Clark joins the Dodgers’ front office. Both changes might affect the Senators as the open position on Matt Williams’ staff may cause a ripple effect which would be felt in Harrisburg and Clark was instrumental in the marked improvement in the Nats’ farm system.
