Caleb Clay - Hanwha Eagles

• Caleb Clay (’13) signed a deal with the Hanwha Eagles of the Korea Baseball Organization. If Google Translate is to be believed, Clay will report to training camp in Okinawa, Japan on January 15th.

• The Orioles grabbed Chris Marrero (’09-’10, ’12) off the free agent heap. Expect Marrero to man first base with the Triple-A Norfolk Tides or provide a righthanded bat off the bench at Camden Yards.

• Brian Schneider (’99) joined the long line of former catchers to ascend to a managerial position as he takes his first job with the Class-A Advanced Jupiter Hammerheads.

• Do you think chasing the dream is all rainbows and unicorns? Think again, as Tim Pahuta (’10-’12) is now facing a sobering reality. (TP)

• Tanner Roark (’10-’11) gave hope to all the small town players that have aspirations of making it to the show. (DoD)

• MASN Sports’ Byron Kerr caught up with Josh Wilkie (’09) who’s excited about his new job at as a production assistant that creates browser-based motion books for graphic novels or comic books. (MASN)

• After a disappointing season in Syracuse and Harrisburg, Carlos Rivero (’13) signed a minor-league deal with the Red Sox hoping to turn it around.

• Michael Martinez (’09-’10) moves across the state as he latched onto the Pittsburgh Pirates.
