Richmond and Reading Both Lose From the Top

High-ranking officials in both Richmond and Reading are leaving their positions before the 2015 season begins. Flying Squirrels’ GM Bill Papierniak is leaving baseball to become owner of a Cartridge World franchise in Innsbrook, VA, while Todd “Parney” Parnell will assume General Manager duties. In Reading, Fightin Phils Assistant GM Ashley Peterson is stepping down after 15 seasons in the front office to be a full-time mother for her three sons.

After close to 6,000 entries, Hartford unveiled its top ten choices for a team name. Voting ends this Wednesday.

The RubberDucks are holding mascot auditions this Tuesday as they’re looking to hire candidates for their three official mascots: Orbit, Homer, and Webster.
